Albert Ludwig Grimm

Albert Ludwig Grimm (born 1786 in Schluchtern near Heilbronn, died 1872 in Baden-Baden) was a teacher, reformer educationist, politician, poet, was concerned with local history and geology and collected and published folk tales and legend. He studied theology and philology in Tuebingen and Heidelberg and worked as a teacher, later as the head of the „Paedagogium“ in Weilheim (on Bergstraße). There he was elected mayor and deputy („M.
