Leigh Bale

Leigh Bale grew up in the rural Western United States. As the daughter of a U.S. forest ranger, she saw some of the most beautiful backcountry in the world. Her parents taught her a deep and abiding love for family, country and God. As a child of eight years, Leigh started writing plays and made her girlfriends act them out for the entire neighborhood. She has always been a voracious reader with a curious mind. She wrote her first full-length book when she was in middle school, and felt mortified when one of her classmates found and read the story.
