Ronald Clark Ball was born under the shadows of the Hindu Kush mountains in the North West Frontier of Pakistan. The son of a career CIA officer who was constantly on the move around the world, he was raised in Germany, and Thailand, however the family called McLean, Virginia home. He has been a roughneck on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, an officer and Naval Aviator in the United States Navy, piloting the F-14 Tomcat, and an entrepreneur, all inspiration for his writing.
