Hugo Panofsky
10 July 1860 – 18 December 1942
Dr. phil. Hugo Panofsky, who before retirement had been a teacher at the Leibniz high school ("Gymnasium") in Berlin perished at the Theresienstadt concentration camp to were he had been deported on 20 August 1942. He was 82 years old.
