Venerable Guang Chao
Venerable Guang Chao: His ancestral hometown is in Fujian, he lives in Singapore, and in 1980 he sought tutelage under the then Abbot of Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery Venerable Hong Chuan as a teacher, after which he received initiation in Sri Lanka of the Theravada Buddhist lineage. More than a decade ago Venerable Guang Chao was one of the first batch of short-term monastic teachers at the Singapore Buddhist Lodge, graduated from Nanyang University. The Venerable had visited senior monks in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and was also in Thailand, Sri Lanka and China participating in spiritual practice..
