Arend Fokke Simonsz
3 July 1755 – 15 November 1812
Arend Fokke Simonsz. was a productive Dutch writer and translator, a member of many literary societies. Originally he had been a printer as well, but he was forced to give up that trade, probably for financial reasons. His thinking is clearly part of the Enlightenment.
