• Amending sections 303 (C) and 503 (B) of the Federal food , drug and cosmetic act
• Amending the Public health service act so as to provide for equality of grade, pay and allowance between the chief medical officer of the Coast Guard and comparable officers in the Army. corresponding dental officer of the Army
• Authorizing the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs to transfer, without reimbursement, to the Department of the Army the Birmingham General Hospital Van Nuys, Calif
• Authorizing the transfer of hospitals and related medical facilites between the Veterans' Administration and the Department of Defense
• Promoting the further development of public library service in rural areas
• Providing for equality of grade, pay and allowance between the chief dental officer of the Public Health Service and the corresponding dental officer of the Army
• Providing for intensified research into the causes, hazards, and effects of air pollution
• Providing that the Veterans' Administration hospital at Birmingham Ala. shall be named in honor of Gen. William Crawford Gorgas
• Relating to amounts certain local school agencies may receive for school-construction purposes
• The Hiram R. Gale Memorial Hospital
